Wildfire in Kuna Tuesday night burns 40 acres
A 40-acre grass fire charred patches of fields in Kuna Tuesday night, but nobody was injured and those threatened homes are safe.
Fire crews from Kuna, Boise, Meridian and BLM were on scene to fight the blaze.
Residents stayed in their homes while teams battled the flames. Crews were surprised a fire like this began right on the heels of rainfall, and with moisture currently in the air but they say this also helped the fire become easily contained.
