Crews battling grass fire south of Boise
Crews from three separate departments are on the scene of a grass fire south of Boise near the corner of Kuna Mora and Pleasant Valley Roads, Tuesday night.
BLM, Kuna, Meridian and Boise Fire crews are all battling the blaze.
Several homes were threatened, but teams were able to contain the flames.
Kuna Battalion Fire Chief Doyle Mcpherson says this early spring grass fire could be an indication Southwest Idaho is in for a lengthy, difficult fire season ahead.
