Boise man in Ada County jail on charges of possessing sexually exploitative material involving a child
A Boise man is in the Ada County Jail on two felony charges after investigators found illegal images of children in his possession.
The investigation began yesterday when members of the Idaho Crimes Against Children Task Force received information that Wayne L. Moses, 25 of Boise, had photographs depicting the sexual abuse of children.
At about 6 p.m. Thursday, detectives met with Moses at his home on Grunder in Boise. Through the course of the investigation, officers found evidence of the illegal images. The 25-year-old was taken into custody and later booked into the Ada County Jail on two counts of possession of sexually exploitative material involving a child (a felony).
Detectives say they have also gathered additional evidence that strongly suggests Moses has had direct sexual contact with children whom investigators have not yet located. Anyone with information about Moses or children who have spent time with the 25-year-old are urged to call Ada County Sheriff’s Detective Craig Durell at 208-377-6790.
The investigation is ongoing. Additional charges are expected to be filed against Moses.
