Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Adams County, Idaho for last night’s $241 million draw, is waking up this morning one-quarter-of-a-million dollars richer.

The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one ticket from last night’s draw matched all five of the first numbers, but not the Mega Ball, and was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Adams County. The winning numbers for last night’s Mega Millions draw were 1, 4, 6, 11, 14 and the Mega Ball was 30. Adams County is located in western Idaho along the Idaho – Oregon border.

“We are encouraging everyone who played Mega Millions for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Too often we see players not match the Mega Ball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $250,000.”

This is Idaho’s seventh $250,000 Mega Millions winner since the game debuted in February 2010. Idaho’s winner last night was one of 66 “Match 5” prizes nationwide for last night’s Mega Millions draw. With no jackpot winner, the Mega Millions jackpot for Friday night’s draw is an estimated $290 million.

Last night’s winner has 180 days to claim their prize in Boise.

The Idaho Lottery is also reminding players to sign the back of all their tickets prior to presenting them for payment.
