On-foot pursuit Wednesday morning after US Marshals attempt to serve a warrant
Around 11 a.m. Wednesday, a pursuit in Garden City began as US Marshals were looking for a person wanted on a warrant. There were reports from dispatch of a possible hostage situation but the Ada County Sheriff's office later said this was not the case.
Matthew Robert Krupp, a fugitive out of Oregon, was apprehended after the pursuit. He is on parole in Idaho under the terms of the Interstate Compact for convictions of armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm in Oregon.
Ada County Sheriff's deputies were assisting with the operation and officers with other local law enforcement agencies assisted with the pursuit.
