Mountain Roundup begins at Mountain Home Air Force Base
Mountain Roundup, a multi-national and inter-service exercise at Mountain Home Air Force Base, is slated to run now through March 23.
Exercise participants include members of the German air force, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
For the German air force's PA-200 Tornado aircrews, the exercise serves as the final stage of training for the Fighter Weapons Instructor Course with the German Air Force Flying Training Center (GAF FTC) at Holloman AFB, N.M. For others, it's a chance to participate in a large-force exercise in preparation for future joint operations.
