Police hunting for sandwich shop robber
Boise Police officers are looking for the man who held up the Subway sandwich shop in the 6900 block of Fairview Avenue in Boise Thursday afternoon.
About 3:10 p.m., the suspect entered the restaurant and showed and employee a note demanding cash and saying he had a weapon, police say. However, no weapon was seen.
Police say the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen on foot heading south on McKinney Street.
Initial reports say the man was light-skinned, wearing a dark-colored, athletic-type hooded sweatshirt, and jeans. He was reported between 5'6" and 5'8" tall, and weighing about 200 pounds. He may have also possibly had a mustache.
If you’ve seen the suspect, you’re urged to call Crimestoppers at 343-COPS.
