February National Teen Violence Awareness Month
BOISE, ID -- February is National Teen Violence Awareness Month.
Senator Mike Crapo and the Idaho Coalition Against Teen Violence gathered at the State House to raise awareness about teen violence and domestic abuse.
Teens say the best way to educate your children about the nationwide problem is to allow other teens to do the talking.
"They like to learn about it from peer to peer rather than someone twenty years older that them," said high school student, Khadija Kahn.
Senator Crapo has pushed to educated teens since 2006, sponsoring a resolution to recognize problems involved with teen relationships.
