Idaho lawmakers debate new wolf hunting methods
The war over wolves in Idaho faces a new battle as lawmakers debate using powered parachutes and helicopters to hunt problem wolves.
A plan in the Senate Agricultural Affairs Committee would also let rancers use live-bait trapping to take down animals causing problems with livestock.
Opponenents say the added tools are too much and say if they are implemented wolves might be listed again as an endangered species, which could lead to Idaho losing the power of wolf management.
A vote on the matter is expected to take place on Wednesday in committee.
