Caldwell to host welcome home celebration for the 116th Saturday
The City of Caldwell will be holding a welcome home for the troops of the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team, from their recent deployment to Iraq under Operation New Dawn.
The event will be held at the O’Connor Field House in Caldwell at 4pm on Saturday.
The public will have an opportunity to visit with Soldiers and families from the 116th. There will be an address from Mayor Garret Nancolas and Mayor Tom Dale along with an awards presentation and a slideshow of the 116th’s mission in Iraq
