Structure fire reported in Boise
A fire was reported at around 7:30 this morning on Clinton Street in Boise. Firefighters arrived to find the detached garage on fire. The garage contained lumber which caused the fire to burn quickly and cause extensive damage.
Fortunately, although the homeowner attempted to put the fire out before firefighters arrived, he was not hurt.
Firefighters are still on scene, mopping up after a garage fire on the 6100 block on W. Clinton, just southwest of North Curtis Rd & West Emerald St.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
