January 18th snow report, including school closures, traffic and mountain updates
Idaho City Basin School District
Arts West is letting kids leave as of 10:15am
CWI offices and classes will close at noon, and will resume tomorrow morning
The Parma Learning Center will be closed today. The Parma School district will close at their regular time of 3pm
Council Community Church is canceling all afternoon and evening activities
Vision Charter School will be letting out at 2:30. Parents are encouraged to pick up their children at the school. The busses will be leaving at 2:30 in hopes that they will arrive at their drop spots at the normal time. If you would like your child held at the school you may call the school and let them know
Elementary school basketball games in the Boise School District have been canceled today
Central Assembly Christian Life Center has canceled all ministry activities for Wednesday night
Stevens Henager College has cancelled classes for today and tonight for both campuses

Ada County dispatchers have received reports of the following weather-related incidents on Ada County roads:
24 stalled motors
35 slide-offs
55 crashes without injuries
4 crashes with injuries
Tamarack
Tamarack received an additional 3 inches of snow overnight to accompany the 8 received yesterday, for a total of 11 inches accumulations in the past 24 hours. You will continue to see the snow stake accumulate today on top of what they had yesterday. Since they operate Thursday – Sunday they allow the snow stake to accumulate, letting skiers and snowboarders see the total amount they can ski on Powder Thursdays.

Sun Valley
Sun Valley has received 2 inches of snow in the last 24 hours for a total of 30 inches at the top and 24 inches at the base. They have received no new snow since 5:30am. Keep updated on their information at their website.
