Boise man charged with felony injury to child
A Boise man faces a felony charge of injury to a child after emergency crews found his 3-month-old child in critical condition in his home. 19-year-old Reynaldo Sanchez is being held on a $1 million bond.
Crews were called to Sanchez's Boise home Friday morning after a report a child was hurt after falling out of an infant chair. Paramedics say the child was in critical condition when they got to the home and because of the severity of the injuries called in Ada County Sheriff's Deputies to investigate. After looking into the situation detectives determined the child wasn't hurt by falling out of a chair, but by his father.
Police continue their investigation as they work to find out exactly how the child was injured.
