Two Boise women involved in eastern Idaho sex sting

The Idaho Falls Police Department says four men have been arrested in a sex sting, including one whose name became well-known after he was badly beaten in a privately run Idaho prison.

Idaho Falls Police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen said the prostitution sting was organized when two women – Amber Grosse, 23, and Andrea Polly, 21, both of Boise -- were pulled over for suspicion of driving under the influence. Police said the women had 17 containers of the “spice” (synthetic marijuana) in their possession, as well as a small amount of marijuana. The two women reportedly told officers they were in town to solicit sex. They reportedly agreed to help police set up an undercover sting.at the Pinecrest Inn in Idaho Falls.

Twenty-five-year-old Hanni Elabed, 55-year-old Michael Flint, 44-year-old David Peterson and 29-year-old Derek Holmes all were charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitutes.

A police department spokesperson says Grosse was arrested for felony delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana charge (a misdemeanor); Polly was charged with of eluding officers and driving without privileges, both also misdemeanors.

Elabed was involved in a lawsuit against the Idaho Correctional Center after he was beaten by another inmate while several guards watched. Elabed sustained brain damage from the beating.
