Boise State University offers free faculty podcasts
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Boise State University has launched a new website featuring podcasts with various faculty members.
University president Bob Kustra says the podcasts will allow the public to connect with and learn from faculty experts. The university announced the new website, www.beyondtheblue.boisestate.edu , in a statement issued Tuesday.
Faculty featured in the podcast series include English professor Mitch Wieland, who will talk about fiction writing, and Greg Hampikian, a professor in the university's biology department who discusses his work with DNA and the Idaho Innocence Project. History professor Jill Gill's podcast is focused on the politics of race and features a discussion on how Idaho became the 46th state to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The university says new faculty podcasts will be added on a regular basis.
