The sky is the limit for College of Western Idaho students. The Bengal Bound program launched today, which guarantees C.W.I. graduates admission to Idaho State University.

Counselors and department representatives were on hand at College of Western Idaho’s academic building to share information about Bengal Bound with prospective transfer students.

"They work really well with us, their credits transfer easily and we believe we have a lot of opportunities just sitting out there waiting for C.W.I.  Students to take advantage of," said Dana Gaudet, Assistant Director of Recruitment and Student Services for I.S.U. in Meridian.

"They seem to be really knowledgeable about the nursing program, which is important and I feel like they've outreached more than other colleges," said Megan Kalousek, College of Western Idaho student.

An application fee waiver is included in the benefits for the program, which applies to not only C.W.I., but the College of Southern Idaho and North Idaho College.

Students need to complete their associate's degree with a 2.0 or higher cumulative G.P.A. Scholarships are also available based on grade point average.
