Idaho State Police troopers have arrested two people for suspected marijuana trafficking, felony possession of hashish oil and possession of drug paraphernalia –- after reportedly finding 215 pounds of marijuana and 16.8 pounds of hashish oil in their vehicle.

The arrests took place Wednesday on Interstate 84 in Elmore County.

Jordan D. Dalton, 26, of Willingboro, New Jersey and Leida E. Figueroa, 44, of Groveland, Florida were booked into the Elmore County Jail.

“This is part of a trend of increasing marijuana trafficking arrests in our state,” said ISP spokesman Tim Marsano. “Since 2014, ISP has seized more than 1,900 pounds of marijuana from would-be traffickers – including this seizure."
