KREM TV reports 54-year-old Derek Bost was found in Juliaetta yesterday morning.
Officials say he slipped out of wrist restraints Wednesday afternoon and drove away in a Jeep Cherokee. Police found the car about 2 hours later and chased a man running near the river but he disappeared into the woods. A property owner found him hiding in a barn and he surrendered.
Bost is in custody on 9 charges including burglary and unlawful possession of a firearm.
