As Memorial Day approaches, the Idaho Division of Veterans Services (IDVS) needs your help identifying military and veterans memorials across Idaho.
It's all part of an effort to bring these memorials and monuments into the digital space.
Using the website, www.historypin.org, IDVS can get help from the public to collect photos, history and stories regarding the many memorials throughout Idaho, creating a digital legacy.
"In the past, we've used old pamphlets to reference all of the military memorials across the state," said David Brasuell, IDVS Division Administrator. "Now, with this new opportunity, we have a HistoryPin project which moves us from the analog to the digital age."
