A summer hiring event will take place on June 13th-16th at the Idaho Department of Labor office in Caldwell, 4514 Thomas Jefferson St., featuring a different industry each day.
The hiring event will run from 9 a.m. to noon daily.
• Monday, June 13, health care jobs - Saint Alphonsus, Corizon Health, Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, Home Helpers Home Care.
• Tuesday, June 14, manufacturing jobs - Darigold, Franz Bakery, Sorrento Lactalis, J.R. Simplot.
• Wednesday, June 15, clerical/call center/retail - Select Staffing, CITI Group, Retail Merchandising Solutions Inc., Metro PCS, Norco.
• Thursday, June 16, transportation - CLD and non-CDL - Shilo Inn and Suites, Brown Bus co., Franklin Building Supply, Community Council of Idaho.
According to a press release, “Types of jobs available include nurses, caregivers, account clerks, records technicians, CNC machinists, controls engineers, quality managers, labor supervisors, forklift operators, shipping and receiving clerks, production workers, customer service representatives, mechanical drafters, food service technicians, drivers, retail workers and more.”
