The Christmas shopping season is well underway and a local business owner is giving you a new place to shop, just in time for the holidays.
a'Tavola in Boise is a marketplace that offers bakery items, espresso, beer, wine, and take-away foods.
The owner opens up a secret room behind the market place just for the holiday season. She says this is her third year opening up the holiday shop and she only advertises through her newsletter.
"Even after three years, there's still people that don't know it's here, so you know, they walk out the door, they don't know what to expect, they open the door and they always are like oh my gosh. I can't believe this is back here hiding, ya know, they always want to be like why didn't you tell anybody. I said, well, you tell people," says Lisa Peterson, owner, a'Tavola.
The pop-up shop offers specialty foods, unique items and gift baskets. It's open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Christmas Eve.
To get there just head out of the back door of a'Tavola and follow the Christmas path.
