The Boise Police Department is investigating a single car crash that happened on State Street near Bogart Lane this morning.
Police responded just after 6:50 a.m. to a rollover where the vehicle ended up in a canal. The vehicle was headed westbound on State Street when it went off the right side of the road and crashed. The driver, an adult male, was the only occupant in the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital but passed away from his injuries.
The crash investigation is ongoing but preliminary information suggests slick road conditions may have been a factor.
