Three people are in Ada County Jail on a variety of charges including drug possession, parole violation, and potentially, theft charges.

On June 7th, IDOC Probation and Parole with the Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit/Neighborhood Contact Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by three people near the intersection of Beacon Street and Manitou Avenue.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Theron T. Hale, 45, of Boise, was known to have a warrant for a parole violation.

An open air search of the vehicle by a drug dog resulted in an alert, and a search revealed several baggies containing a crystalline substance that tested positive for meth along with a vial of Schedule II pills.

Theron T. Hale, 45, of Boise, was charged with possession of a controlled substance-meth (F), and parole violation (F).

Anna M. Hendricks, 35, of Garden City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance-meth (F), and probation violation (F).

Matthew O. Kepner-Roberts, 27, of Boise, was charged with controlled substance violation (F), and parole violation (F).

Before the traffic stop, detectives observed the trio pulling suspected stolen items out of a truck and placing the items into Hale’s residence located on the 1400 block of Beacon Street.

During a search of Hale’s home, officers located numerous items recently reported stolen in Boise.

Boise Police officers and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are trying to identify the owners of the property and more charges could be possible.
