MERIDIAN – An Ada County detention deputy was booked into the Ada County Jail Saturday night on charges of domestic battery, false imprisonment and attempted strangulation.
Meridian Police arrested Troy Eisele, 29, on Saturday at a home in Meridian following an altercation between Eisele and a woman.
Eisele has been working at the Ada County Jail as a detention deputy since March 29, 2015. He was immediately placed on administrative leave and an independent internal investigation began.
The outcome of that investigation will determine Eisele’s future employment status.
