Customers at Stinker Store locations across the state were asked if they wanted to donate a dollar to the Idaho Foodbank over the last month and the totals are in.
Nearly $50,000 were contributed by customers and the owner of Stinker Stores donated an additional $20,000 to the Idaho Foodbank.
"We're able to use every dollar that's raised to provide enough food for four meals. So, you can take that total amount of more than $68,000, multiply it by four -- that's a lot of food that's going to be made available across the state for those who are in need," Karen Vauk from the Idaho Foodbank explained.
