Crews in Idaho County have removed a car from the Salmon River involved in a deadly accident in May, but they still have not found the body of a woman who was in the car during the crash and is presumed drowned.
Tiffany Maupin and Cayla Danenberg, both from Nampa, were headed for the University of Idaho on May 17th when their car left Highway 95 and went into the river near Lucile.
Maupin’s body was found 11 days after the crash.
Water conditions finally eased to the point crews were able to recover the car on Sunday but Danenberg’s body was not inside.
