A Caldwell man faces two felony charges and more could be on the way as police investigate a string of burglaries at homes listed in the "Parade of Homes".

Caldwell Police say evidence from a break in on Middlesboro Way led them to a potential suspect, Troy Hinkle.  Police tell us when they searched Hinkle's home they found a firearm and thousands of rounds of ammunition.  Investigators also say they found things inside the home that had been stolen during the "Parade of Homes" burglaries.

Right now, Hinkle is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.  He's being held in the Canyon County Jail.  Police say their burglary investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed soon.

Police say they want to hear from you if your home has recently been hit by a burglar.  Contact Sgt. Chris Finley of the CPD Property Crimes division at 208-455-4574 and you can set up an appointment to look for stolen items that have been recovered.
