BOISE, ID— Boise Police are searching for the man they say stole an SUV from a Boise neighborhood at gunpoint. They're now asking for public help to be on the lookout for the armed robbery victim’s vehicle.

Police are trying to locate Kenny McDonald, who they say is the suspect involved in Friday's armed robbery, and is also wanted on a separate charge of aggravated battery.

Law enforcement first responded to the 2000 block of S. Kerr St. shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Friday. A caller reported an armed robbery where the suspect showed a gun and took off in a victim's vehicle.

The stolen vehicle is described as a black 2011 Dodge Durango with licenses plates 1A VY250.  The vehicle may have minor damage or scratches on the back.

The suspect, Kenny McDonald.  is described as being a white male adult about 5'8", 170-180 lbs.  He has a receding hair line with dark brown hair that was slicked back but cut short on the sides and the back.  He was seen Friday wearing a white tank top and long dark shorts.  He is also said to have gaps in his teeth.

Police consider McDonald to be armed and dangerous and if you see him you are asked to notify police but should not approach him.
