BPD releases sketch of sexual assault suspect

The Boise Police Department has released a sketch of a sexual assault suspect.

The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. on June 12th on Manitou Avenue near Boise State University.

The victim told police that she awoke to an unknown man sexually assaulting her. The suspect then fled the area.

The suspect has been described as a white man with dark hair around 40-50 years old.

He is between 5’8” and 5’10” with a pockmarked/acne scarred face. The suspect’s eyes are blacked out because the victim said he covered them when she awoke.

Officers ask anyone with any information about the suspect to contact Boise Police.  The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with any information about the man or the assault is asked to notify Boise Police by calling non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.  Those with information can also:
