BPD investigating possible hate crime attack

The Boise Police Department is asking for help after an aggravated battery occurred with a possible hate crime bias associated with the crime.

On April 2nd, 2016 in the early morning Saturday hours, Boise Police were informed of a battery that occurred near 19th Street and Jefferson.

The victim was walking with a person when they were attacked by a group of people.

One victim was taken to the hospital.

During an investigation Boise Police learned this is a possible hate-bias crime and are looking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything. The incident remains an on-going investigation.
