UPDATE: Boise Police reports Michelle has been located at a Boise day shelter, and has since been safely reunited with her family.

BOISE—Boise Police officers are asking the community members to help in locating a missing teen who was last seen on Friday.

A 17-year-old Michelle Hibbert was last seen on foot in the area of Fairview Avenue and Milwaukee Street heading southbound on Milwaukee around 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Michelle has certain learning limitations which cause family members concern she is unable to be out on her own for an extended period of time in inclement weather.

Michelle is described as being light-skinned, 4’11” tall, weighing 126 pounds.  She has short blonde hair and blue eyes.

Witnesses say Michelle was last seen wearing a turquoise jumpsuit, with pink snowflakes across the chest of the shirt.  She also had on a black and red poncho, and black, lace-up snow boots.  It is also possible that Michelle may have a change of clothes in her possession, described as jeans and a multi-colored, rainbow type sweatshirt.  She was last seen pulling a rolling suitcase.

Michelle was carrying some sort of tent with her, and had made remarks that she wished to camp on her own, away from home.  Family members worry she isn’t capable of safely doing that, and given the freezing temperatures, would like to get her safely home.

If you have seen Michelle, or have any information that will help find her, officers ask you to call non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
