While the Ben's Crow Inn was once and iconic restaurant in East Boise, today, the future of the land is unknown.
Since the owners stepped away from the business last fall, controversy has arisen over what should happen to the plot of land the restaurant sits on.
DevCo LLC. wants permission to re-annex the property to accommodate 24 lots to create the Ben's Crow Inn Neighborhood, but earlier this year many of the neighbors adjacent to the property packed a planning and zoning meeting pushing back against the development.
After commissioners couldn't come to an agreement earlier this year, they sent the request to the Boise City council.
No word just yet on how they voted.
