Mark Allen Price was sentenced Friday morning to serve twenty years in prison, with five years fixed, for a bank robbery he committed in December, according to the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office.

On December 10th of last year, investigators say Price entered a Wells Fargo bank on Fairview Avenue in Boise, and presented a demand note to the teller. After receiving the money, he instructed the teller to provide even more.

Price then fled the bank, but was identified by police through footage from the bank’s surveillance system -- which showed distinctive tattoos used to help identify him.

Price was arrested the next day in Baker City, Oregon.  He was extradited to Idaho and charged with robbery.

Price has been held at the Ada County Jail since that time on a $500,000.00 bond.
