Bogus Basin says they will open tomorrow kicking off their 75th Anniversary with the Coach Chair and Easy Rider areas open for skiing.  This afternoon they announced Coach, Deer Point, and Showcase lifts open.  The Easy Rider magic carpet and Coach Chair are also open.

However, because not all aspects of the mountain are open and they will be offering reduced services at this point, customers will benefit from reduced prices. Theirinner tubing page offers a method for customers to obtain a refund depending on when they bought their ticket.

"We are very excited to kick off the 2016-17 season and to begin the celebration of our 75th Anniversary year,” said Brad Wilson, General Manager. "We have been watching conditions closely, and we have been preparing to make the decision to open as soon as we possibly could. The new snow over the past few days has made the difference."

They say they will be announcing more terrain and lifts as conditions permit. Ski teams are testing terrain.

Bogus Basin says the J.R. Simplot Lodge will be serving food and beverages, but the Pioneer lodge will only have bathroom and locker service.  Hours will be 9am to 4:30pm.

Night skiing and public transportation to the mountain will not be running.

Bogus Basin managers say to check their website for updates about what terrain and lifts will be open.
