Semi strikes bridge, falls down embankment near Baker City
A commercial truck driver was cited by Oregon State Police Saturday after a trailer with a heavy load struck a bridge abutment and went down an embankment along Interstate 84 about 35 mile east of Baker City. The trailer came to rest in the Burnt River and its load, a windmill base, came to rest on the east side river bank.
