For this production, the amphitheater will be transformed into an Elizabethan theater, including NEW SEATING SECTIONS ON STAGE -creating an immersive experience for audiences! Consider ONSTAGE seating when planning your visit to enjoy the fullness of this unique production. When his suspiciously widowed mother swiftly marries his uncle, amidst demands for revenge from his murdered father’s ghost, the young prince Hamlet resolves that something is indeed “rotten in the state of Denmark.” More info here!

 

Boise Music Festival

Boise Music Festival has become one of the most iconic family events in the Treasure Valley attracting attendees from across the state and the Pacific Northwest. The 8th annual Boise Music Festival provides a full day of music and family entertainment! Located throughout the Expo Idaho fairgrounds are six music stages. The Main Stage is headlined by national recording artists. Five smaller stages showcase local and regional musicians and artists from across Idaho and the Northwest. Music lovers can enjoy performances from a variety of genres: acoustic, pop, country, bluegrass, folk, rock, hip-hop and alternative. More info here!

 

Relay Through the Decades: Relay for Life of Boise 2017

Cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and community members will unite for the annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Boise in an effort to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society provide free information and support for people facing the disease today, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations. Members of each team take turns walking or running around the track or path. Teams participate in fundraising in the months leading up to the event. More info here!

 

Boise Art Museum Anniversary

Join in the fun as the Boise Art Museum marks its 80th anniversary year with a Community Celebration!! Throughout the day, special guests will help visitors honor the occasion with artist demos, performances, art making, gallery talks and birthday treats. Meridian Lions Rodeo
June 24th & 25th, 2017 | See Event Page For Times

Enjoy exciting rodeo action at the Meridian Lions Club PRCA Pro Rodeo, including bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding, tie-down roping and steer wrestling. Plus kids ages 4-7 are invited to bust some mutton in pre-rodeo action, while those ages 8-13 can try their hands at steer riding. All proceeds go right back into the community to help the Lions provide eye exams and glasses, hearing aids and scholarships. P4TP Bike Prom!

P4TP is back for its 6th year and are KICKING THINGS OFF with Bike Prom at 10 Barrel Brewing featuring Lounge On Fire! Bike Prom is all about getting the amazing Boise Bicycling community together for an evening of non-stop partying to kick off Pedal 4 The People weekend. Dress up, ride in, and get down. While there’s no dress code, get those creative juices flowin! Think bike shorts meets a velour tux. Think Tour de France meets a prom dress complete with shoulder pads and ruffles. Big hair, big helmets, flashy, tacky, cycle-centric. And what prom would be complete without a photobooth, a dunk-tank, and sumo-dumo bike wars! More info here!

 

Reeve Carney

Reeve Carney was most recently seen as ‘Riff Raff’ in the upcoming remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show on FOX. Before Rocky Horror, he starred in Showtime’s series Penny Dreadful as Dorian Gray. He originated the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the smash Broadway production Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. Reeve also fronted the rock band Carney, whose debut album Mr. Green Vol. 1 came out on DAS Label/Interscope. His debut solo album was released in October of 2016. More info here!

Korn

June 25th, 2017 | Event starts at 5PM
Since forming in 93’ the iconic hard rock band Korn have sold nearly 40 million albums, toured the world dozens of times, and set records in the process that will likely never be surpassed. Vocalist Jonathan Davis, guitarists James “Munky” Shaffer and Brian “Head” Welch, and Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu on bass ushered in the new wave of metal music in the ’90s with their self-titled debut in 1994 and 1996’s Life is Peachy, but have ridden that wave to even greater success and higher artistic watermarks. The band have battled personal demons and addictions but have found their way through to the other side. More info here!
