My vote for last year’s best documentary is the Oscar nominated Searching For Sugar Man - a highly entertaining, engaging and touching film. Search for it! Extras include commentary and two featurettes.
The Men Who Built America – Lionsgate – Not Rated
The Men Who Built America is an 8 hour History Channel miniseries documentary that is riveting, and true. Spotlighting the men who drove the industrial revolution, this is an interesting, inspirational history lesson. Bonus features include eight featurettes. It’s My Pick of the Week!
The Imposter - The Indomnia Group - Not Rated
You know right from the beginning what The Imposter is about. The documentary tells the tale with interviews and re-enactments with a twist in the last third that makes it interesting and downright provocative. Extras include a 41 minute making of featurette.
