(A Haunted House – Open Road Films – Rated R)
From the creators of "Scary Movie" comes R rated A Haunted House, a parody of Paranormal Activity. When newlyweds Malcolm and Kisha move into their dream house, they quickly find they’re not alone. It’s not the house that’s haunted, but his wife that is possessed with spirits – or as Malcolm calls it – “relationship baggage.” Malcolm hires everyone from a priest to modern day ghost busters to rid her of the demon, determined not to let the evil spirit ruin his marriage... or his sex life. Marlon Wayans, Nick Swardson, David Koechner, Essence Atkins, and Cedric the Entertainer star.

(Gangster Squad – Warner Brothers - Rated R)
Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, Robert Patrick, Emma Stone and Sean Penn star in R rated Gangster Squad. Set in 1949 Los Angeles, a Brooklyn-born mob king runs the show, reaping the profits from drugs, guns, prostitutes and--if he has his way--every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection the police and the politicians who are under his control. It's enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop...except for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders who come together to try to bring justice to the city.

And at The Flicks…

(A Royal Affair – Magnolia Pictures – Rated R)
A Royal Affair is a tale of intrigue, power, lust and betrayal set in Denmark in the 18th century. It is based on the true story of mad king Christian VII and his wife Queen Caroline Mathilda who had an affair with her husband's physician. Together the Queen and the physician reformed laws and helped the people of Denmark. In Danish with English subtitles, it’s rated R.

And expanding wide this week:

(Zero Dark Thirty – Columbia – Rated R)
Earning 5 Oscar Nominations, Zero Dark Thirty is the somewhat fictional tale of the elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, who devoted themselves to a single goal: finding and killing of Osama Bin Laden. This is the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man. It stars Jessica Chastain and is rated R.
