(Frankenweenie – Disney – Rated PG)
From Tim Burton comes the full length stop-motion animated film Frankenweenie, which expands on Burton’s 1984 live action short. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous. It stars the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara and Martin Landau, it’s rated PG.

(Taken 2 – 20th Century Fox – Rated PG-13)
Liam Neeson returns in Taken 2 as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one. Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen also star.

And at The Flicks…

(Wild Horse, Wild Ride – Screen Media Films – Rated PG)
The PG rated documentary Wild Horse, Wild Ride tells the story of the Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge, an annual contest that dares 100 people to come and tame a wild mustang in order to find it a home.
