(Dark Shadows – Warner Brothers – Rated PG-13)
Usually, the Tim Burton / Johnny Depp collaborations are terrific…usually, but not with Dark Shadows. It's campy, silly and odd…in a bad way. But its biggest sin, is it is downright boring. My eyelids felt challenged to stay open. Bonus features include deleted scenes and a featurette. The blu-ray adds 8 featurettes.
(Bonanza the Official Fourth Season – Paramount – Not Rated)
The fourth season of the legendary western series, Bonanza comes to DVD with 34 episodes on 9 discs…and it includes the original music. Bonus features include commentaries, original program elements and more.
(People Like Us - Dreamworks - Rated PG-13)
People Like Us features some nice performances in a film that is based on a true story. It's a little long and a bit too melodramatic, but it kept me involved. Extras include commentaries. The blu-ray adds a commentary, two featurettes, bloopers and deleted scenes.
(Annie – Sony – Rated PG)
The delightful musical, Annie is now 30 years old, and comes to Blu-ray in a 30th anniversary sing along edition. Bonus features include a sing along, a featurette and more.
(Hart of Dixie The Complete First Season – Warner Brothers – Not Rated)
Rachael Bilson, Jaime King and Tim Matheson star in the first season of the CW drama Hart of Dixie. The first season set includes 22 episodes on five discs along with a gag reel, deleted scenes and a multipart featurette.
(90210 The Fourth Season – Paramount – Not Rated)
The fourth season of the CW series 90210 comes to DVD with 24 episodes on six discs. Extras include commentaries, set tours, three featurettes, a gag reel and deleted scenes.
