BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A prominent personal injury attorney has been banned from practicing law in Idaho for at least two years after admitting he delayed payments to his clients.
Boise attorney Bill Litster has agreed to disqualify himself from practicing law while the Idaho State Bar investigates his claim that a medical condition led to his professional misconduct.
The details of the medical condition were not disclosed in court documents.
Court records show Litster has petitioned an Idaho State Bar professional conduct board for medical disability status that would let him keep his law license.
If the disability status is not granted, Litster has agreed to a suspension -- a decision that means he cannot practice law in Idaho for at least two years regardless of the board's decision
