Adam Blacker, a 27 year old college student (at Ohio State University) from Nampa, ID, will be a hot seat contestant on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" on Tuesday, April 17.

Adam is a 1998 graduate of Nampa High School and is the son of Deby and Kyle Blacker, of Provo, UT.  Adam is married with one daughter.  Adam's wife, Sheri, came to NYC with him and sat in the "Millionaire" audience as his on-air companion for the show.

Adam is a 2nd year Optometry student at Ohio State University.  He had to take his Optometry finals a few days early, in order to travel to NYC to tape his episode of "Millionaire."  By the time he arrived at the "Millionaire" studio, he said his "brain was about to explode," because had been studying trivia for the show, as well as things like 'psuedomyopia' and 'comitant strabismus' for his finals.

Adam's friends said that they want to have a viewing party where everyone has to come dressed as a different Millionaire -- like Donald Trump or Bill Gates.  Adam's costume?  He's hoping to go dressed as himself!

Adam said that if he won big on "Millionaire," he would donate to his church, pay for Optometry school, buy his wife an '87 Camaro and a Deloren for himself.
