Independence Day Celebration in Meridian

July 4th, 2017 | 3PM - 11PM

Meridian Parks & Recreation is partnering with Meridian Speedway to bring the Independence Day Festival to the residents of Meridian to celebrate our country's freedom in Storey Park. The festival features inflatable toys, food vendors, kids games, and live music. The evening culminates with a spectacular fireworks display that is visible throughout the Treasure Valley. The Meridian Speedway will also be hosting races!

 

Boise 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

July 4th, 2017 | 6PM - 11PM

Families are invited to bring family and friends on Independence Day for the annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at Expo Idaho. The event will be free to the public, make sure to get there early for the best view! Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including beer and wine. The fireworks display will be synced to the music from 107.1 K-HITS! Please follow the helpful tips menu to keep everyone safe!

 

Caldwell 4th of July Parade and Celebration

Independence Day in Caldwell starts at 9AM with the parade. There will be tons of fun to be had, including bounce houses, an all day car show, patriotic bike contest, and more! The pool will be open from 1PM - 6PM, with no cost to swim! Fireworks start at dusk at Brother's Park, near Caldwell High School.

 

Idaho Falls "Melaleuca Freedom Celebration"

Idaho's Falls has a long history of hosting the largest fireworks celebration this side of the Mississippi River. The Melaleuca Freedom Celebration is a tribute to the soldiers and their families who have sacrificed to secure and preserve our freedoms. This is the 25th year of this event, which has recently moved to the Snake River Landing to allow a larger array of pyrotechnic special effects. Enjoy the day-long festivities and end the evening with 30 minute, orchestrated extravaganza!

Idaho Shakespeare Festival: Hunchback of Notre Dame

This sweeping and unforgettable musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame resound through Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be “Out There,” observes all of Paris. Held captive, he escapes and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly, saved only by the kindness of the gypsy Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by Esmeralda, a competition for her affection ensues as well as a deadly plot to destroy the gypsies. It’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.

 

Eagle Saturday Market

The Eagle Saturday Market is a community market located in the heart of downtown Eagle, at Heritage Park. You can find an array of arts and crafts along with local produce, herbs and flowers, woodwork, specialty food items and freshly prepared food. Every Saturday the park comes alive with the melodious sounds of local musicians and community members coming together to support local micro-producers.

 

75th Anniversary Summer Kickoff Celebration

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Bogus Basin and they’re celebrating in style. Many summer activities will be open including tubing, bungee trampoline, and gem panning station, just to name a few. If you’re someone who enjoys the outdoors hiking and bike trails will be open. There will be live music from 1 - 7PM with DJ LIZZIE and the Pimps of Joytime at the base area amphitheater. It’s going to be a celebration you won’t wanna miss!

Straight out of Brooklyn comes the Pimps of Joytime, a band whose influence come from Brooklyn’s indie music scene, New Orleans Funk, and San Francisco Soul. Their mission: to make you dance! Their latest release, Third Wall Chronicles, centers around uniting the listener around the common bonds of peace, love, and music. Opening for them will be DJ LIZZIE!

Silver Screen on the Green: Secret Life of Pets

Nampa Parks & Recreation is pleased to offer free movies in park throughout the summer! Come out to the park and enjoy the silver screen on a large inflatable movie screen. Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family and friends, and head to Optimist Park in Nampa for a summer of fun. Each movie night features, concessions, activities and fun for the whole family! BAM Independence Day
