Das Alpenhaus will be hosting their first annual Oktoberfest to celebrate their almost one year anniversary. The entire parking lot will be reserved for all that come! To help you through your drinking rally, there will be delicious Delikatessen food! They’ll also have Oompah Bands to keep your toes tapping! Old Boise Oktoberfest 2017

4th Annual Hoptober Freshtival

Idaho’s original and largest fresh hop beer festival is back and fresher than ever, with 60-plus different beers from more than 30 breweries on tap. You’ll enjoy specialty beer offerings and play festival games while rubbing elbows with the hop farmers that make the beer possible. A commemorative sample mug and 10 sample tickets go with admission, and food by local vendors such as B-Town Bistro, Genki Takoyaki, Wetos Locos and more will be available. More info here!

Gravity Games is back for another year! Come join the excitement again at Bogus Basin Mountain Ski Resort and experience some downhill longboarding. This third year event will feature a downhill longboard freeride with an advanced guideline track, fun downhill race, longboard demos, local vendors, food trucks, live music and more during the event. Treasure Valley Out of the Darkness Walk

When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. Funky Fresh: A Fresh Hop Festival

Made using green hops harvested hours before they hit the brew kettle, fresh-hopped beers offer a special fall treat. PreFunk Beer Bar will celebrate this short, special time of year with a fresh-hop festival featuring as dozen or so Pacific Northwest fresh-hop beers. Brewery list: Melvin, Rogue, Payette, Sockeye, Barbarian, Double Mountain, 10 Barrel (Boise), Odell, Sierra Nevada, Crux, Breakside, Barley Brown’s and Fort George. Food truck B-Town Bistro will be on site, and live music will be provided by First Chair, Jac Sound and Edmond Dantes. Hillbilly Homecoming Competition

The Hillbilly Homecoming is part casual endurance competition, part dance party, and part chili and cornbread feast, with beer by Highland Hollows and live music by the Squatthouse Serenaders immediately following the competition.
