SYSCO KITCHEN: The Griddle

The Griddle started in 1948 in Winnemucca, Nevada.  Mike and Betty Aboud took over operations in 1960 followed by their son David Aboud.   They’ve happily expanded to 4 locations in the treasure valley, most recently in Nampa, Idaho.

 

 

Recipe:

Quinoa, Chorizo and Egg Tostada

3 corn tortillas

Scrambled Eggs with chorizo

Black Bean quinoa salsa

Jack Cheese

Diced tomato’s

Cilantro

Sour cream and guacamole

 

Warm your tortillas on the grill, scramble eggs with chorizo, lay on the tortillas top jack cheese and black bean chorizo salsa.  To finish add diced tomato’s, sour cream, guacamole, and cilantro.
