BOISE, Idaho - The 2013 Idaho State Travel Guide is now available through the Idaho Department of Commerce Division of Tourism. To order a copy of the new guide, visit www.visitidaho.org/publications or call 1-800-VISIT-ID. The Idaho State Travel Guide is also available for download and in flip-book format. A wide assortment of travel planning brochures are available on the website, including the state highway map, RV/Campground Directory, Idaho Scenic Byways Guide, Idaho Golf Trail brochure and Idaho Rivers brochure.

The Idaho Travel Guide includes regional and local information, event listings, scenic photography, arts and culture listings, winter activities, lodging options and regional and city tourism offices. Regional map pages list scenic drives, golf trail courses and ski areas in each region. The city index is now positioned at the front of the book for easy reference.

The cover of the new guide features rafters jumping into Marble Creek on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. “This image by photographer Tom Bear appeared in National Geographic Traveler magazine when Idaho-based ROW Adventures was recognized as one of the 2012 ‘Fifty Tours of a Lifetime,’” said Karen Ballard, Chief Tourism Officer. “Like Marble Creek and ROW, there are many hidden gems in the state and this guide helps you discover them.”
