Canyon County Animal Shelter to waive most adoption fees starting August 3
Canyon County Animal Shelter will be holding Adoptathon August 3-5. Because of sponsorships, almost all the dogs and cats, 6 months and older, will have the adoption fees waived. Kittens and puppies will be half price during the event.
“Our goal is to adopt out 200 dogs and cats and empty the shelter,” said Nancy Orr, Adoption Programs Manager. “We will even be open until 8:00 p.m. on Friday Aug. 3, so people will have more time to come out and look for their perfect pet,” Orr added.
Canyon County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Saturday 10 to 6 and Sunday 10 to 4. They are located at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell.
