Lewiston man faces jail for trespass, lude texts

Associated Press - December 6, 2009 8:04 AM ET

LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) - A former state Department of Health and Welfare child support employee pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor charges, including one from a trespassing incident in June where he peeked at a nude woman at a Lewiston tanning salon.

Under a plea agreement, Larry D. Dillman will spend 10 days of a 180-day sentence behind bars in the Nez Perce County Jail.

4 of the charges were for sending lewd text messages from his personal phone to four women.

The Lewiston Tribune reported that five more charges against the 41-year-old man involving additional women will be dismissed as part of the pact with prosecutors.

Dillman worked for the Department of Health and Welfare from 2004 until last June.

It wasn't immediately clear if his departure from the agency was linked to these charges.

A final sentencing hearing is now set for January.
