A two vehicle fatal accident is under investigation. It happened yesterday at 8:58am at the intersection of US 95 and Northeast 21st Avenue near Payette. Patsy King, 82 years old of Payette, was traveling west on 21st Avenue in a Subaru Outback when she came to a stop sign at the intersection of US 95. Police say she either did not stop or stopped and did not yield as she turned south onto US 95. The Subaru was struck broadside on the driver's side by a semi truck heading north on US 95, driven by Apolonio Gonzalez, 48 years old, of Caldwell. Both vehicles went off the west side of US 95. The Subaru went through a split rail fence before it stopped, and the semi came to rest in a parking lot. The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
