About a hundred people gathered to watch Mayor Tom Dale start the Christmas Season.
The switch gets flipped for downtown Boise's tree Saturday at The Grove Plaza. The ceremony beings at five O'clock.
The state capitol tree is lit the following Monday November 30th. That is at the corner of Capitol and Bannock.
And Meridian's holiday celebration begins Saturday December 5th, at five-thirty at The Generations Plaza.
